This exceptional antique pendant features a finely carved Medusa onyx intaglio, executed with remarkable depth and fluidity, her classical profile and serpentine hair capturing the power and mystique of ancient mythology. The intaglio is set within a warm rose gold mount accented with decorative bead and bar details, giving the piece a rich, softly glowing presence characteristic of Victorian craftsmanship. The reverse is engraved with an ornate monogram and the dates August 30th, 1834 1884, adding a layer of historical intrigue and personal significance. A rare and highly collectible survivor from the 19th century, the pendant reflects the Victorian fascination with classical symbolism
